It will be wonderful when we reach that state when those I love can see the colours and the sounds that play from my being for their sake. I imagine the time when instead of bumping up against them like a block of ice we flow over the rocks like one water and perhaps rise in steam and move as easily mingled as clouds. This I can do in my mind so it is not so bad. It is a way of bringing the future into the present. Today I have not been able to find a beautiful face. They were all alarmingly gross.*†
Perhaps tomorrow
