Dear Harry,
how nice of you to write me Jan 1 and share your disturbed but penetrating thoughts. I am pleased that you see strongly and clearly the imaginary focal point of the turn of another MAN's year. It is true. Yet in another way it is true also that it is the beginning of another cycle of the revolution of the planets in their annual orbit though the older scientists designate Aries [Aries symbol] or March-April as the beginning. To you and I each creation is a beginning, for we are planetary systems also and revolve on our own pattern and have our own New Years.
Life is disturbing and particularly these days. I too have been battling elements of the meaningless and I can honestly return the thoughts that "such as you" give me strength.
