The only dislike I have as regards the West is the Winters are too long and frightfully cold, of course there are all sorts of enjoyments such as snow-shoeing, skating etc. I remember passing through Hamilton some years ago when I first went to Canada from Scotland. You see I belong to the land of the heather.
