Dear All
Glad to say mail is coming through much better now. I only managed to let you have 1 P.C. last month but hope to do much better this month. I keep a book with all details of mail received & sent also I note points in letters to answer. Mother Cherub please don't worry about me I'm quite OK I was worrying about you because from November 15th to Dec 30th I hadn't heard from you however have had 5 since then. Hope Grandma is well again wrote her last month also Auntie Emmie for her Birthday. Please convey my Congratulations and All Best Wishes to Barbara Wood on her marriage. Mr Hussey wrote me and says that the Directors are sending me 1000 Cigarettes also they hope I shall soon be back with them?!! Am trying to decide whether to go in for Matriculation or not—it would mean a tremendous amount of study and am afraid my powers of concentration here are practically nil should have to take it about August. Dad give me more gen [?] about sprats [?] i.e. Mr Richardson etc. Doreen news gets around—Mr Abraham now eh!
Love
John
