Feliks writes: he received letter of Sept. 9th '41. He is thankfully still well and wishes same to his father and sisters. He is glad they are well and working. He writes the weather is nice but cold in the morning, that it costs 20 RM per week. He doesn't know if his father is allowed to send him the sweater and scarf. He is sad to hear life is hard at home. He asks father to write if Uncle Janek is in Warsaw. He asks who is riding his (Feliks's) bike and thanks for the money sent on Sept. 9th '41. He sends greetings to all relatives and kisses to father, Stanislaus, Kasimir and the whole family.
Notes:
- Part of collection of letters (identifier 0442-0455) in chronological order. The corresponding envelops are in entry 0460, but because of the missing postmarks it is impossible to reunite them with certainty.
- Prisoner arrived at Auschwitz on 15 August 1940, then was transferred to Dachau between 1st April and 15 June 1941, only to come back to Auschwitz between 13 September 1942 and 30 January 1943 then transferred again this time to Buchenwald between 1st February and 18 April 1943. Letters are addressed to Josef Elzanowski in Wlochy (Poland).
