Note: Prisoner arrived in camp on 10 January 1941. "January 10 – 169 prisoners from the prison in Tarnow and 102 from Montelupich Prison in Krakow are sent by the Krakow District Sipo and SD and receive nos. 9133-9403.” (Auschwitz Chronicle p.45)
Note 2: letter translated into French. Best wishes for Easter. He hopes that his father will buy all the issues of a certain magazine so he can look at them when he comes back. He writes about his mother’s house.
Note 3 : See another letter from a prisoner who seems to be the same from BUCHENWALD on 14 May 1944. That letter is addressed to Jan Bodzak in Tarnow. This Auschwitz prisoner came to the camp from Tarnow prison.
