Sunday, 8th June 1914 Hannover
Stayed in bed till late. Sketched and painted most of the morning. Talked with Lillie and Hermina about the follies of jealousy. My mind is more at rest now. They are such dears, especially Lillie, she is just like a mother.
In the evening I went for a lovely moonlight row on the river. Took a little paddle boat and paddled out almost as far as the Dörner Masch-Park which is almost two miles by river. Thought of C. as I floated down the river—always wear the locket round my neck. It was just beautiful, floating
