Notes
According to Le Chêne, Mauthausen, subcamp Loibl-Pass was in operation from July 1943 to 27 March 1945. It held 984 prisoners who were digging a tunnel between Austria and Yougoslavia. Bernadac writes about it in his book Le Neuvième Cercle. Lordahl records only two letters (including this one) and a post card from this subcamp.
