Description

A few letters were censored sometimes by cutting into the printed regulations which makes it difficult to differentiate between types S1a and S1bb. Others which are undated are written on pages 3-4 of a letter (S), a habit which in not mentioned by Lordahl for Auschwitz.

Provenance
This prisoner arrived at the camp on 25 June 1940. " June 25, 1940 – On orders from Stapo headquarters in Kattowitz, 100 political prisoners are sent from the police prison in Sosnowitz and given nos. 1122-1221”. (Auschwitz Chronicle p.15).
