I can't answer with a chess move as I have not yet received the last move from you (This game will take centuries!) I am having some good chess games on the station am on now and there is a fairly decent piano, but I have very little time for either now. There are some fine fellows here too, and at off moments I manage to enjoy some good chats. It is a pity that you have to leave people just when you begin to know and like them, but that's how it is. This restless universe of ceaseless change. We are able to get fresh eggs here which I enjoy immensely. In London of course its practically unheard of. (Oh and fresh milk for our tea) The food is good, nourishing and tasty and I expect I shall be healthier while living on stations but on the whole I do very well.

So you see I have laundry following me like the wake of a ship -- Thank goodness you don't send your uniform to the laundry.
