The group failed and disintegrates rudely leaving the weirdness of its introductory bars to comment on its own sadness.
So much for the stimulus which is perhaps only of interest to me, but which is in reality buried in the music.
The Mime, which was first inspired as a result of the letter I received from my Uncle in Occupied France who had been thrown from his home and was destitute, a man who had success, money, and an intellect, who never wrote letters on anything but politics and who revealed his whole tragedy to me by the humorous comment “We can't get any needles, but it doesn't matter because we can't get any thread.” and stirring in me such a sympathy for this tragic comedy, was
