Dear All
I wonder if you have heard if I am safe yet. I'm still rather worried and only look forward to hearing from you. Do not worry about me I am being treated tolerably. In my uniform parcel I suggest you put my cap—shirts, collars studs we have been issued with a greatcoat but not very thick. Very cold in winter so send greatcoat it will be ruined though my love to you all. God Bless
John
