Meeting of the Local Tribunal held in the Magistrates Room Corn Hall Diss on Faroday the 27 day of June 1916 at 2_30 p.m. pursuant to notice for hearing applications
Present Mr Bryant in the chair
Messrs Base Brown Chimery Digby Gaze Harold and
Humphrey
Capn Willoughby on behalf of the Military Authority
The following applications were then considered.
No 93 Diss Urban District Council for George Handel Jones their Inspector
and Collector. The Recruiting Officer consenting it was decided to
grant exemption conditional on the man remaining in his present
occupation.
No 95 Diss Cooperative Society Limd for conditional exemption for
Francis William Clark - it was decided to grant the application.
No 97 John Symonds for conditional exemption for Arthur Ruddock.
it was decided to grant the application.
No 99 Walter William Burrows for condition exemption- resolved
that application to be granted.
No 100 Mrs Booty for George Farmer. it was decided to grant
temporary exemption to 30 September next upon condition that no
application be made for further exemption.
No 101 Doubleday & Co for conditional exemption for David Leeder -
Mr Dupont appeared and asked for adjournment until the hearing of
three other applications by the firm -- agreed.
